It started with a beer-battered fish recipe and a question: how many beers does it take to put three daughters through college? A decade later, 3 Daughters Brewing is one of Florida's largest independent breweries — and its St. Pete tasting room has grown into one of the busiest live music rooms in the Bay, pulling over 250,000 visitors a year into a big, loud, family-friendly warehouse in the Warehouse Arts District.
The room is built for hanging out, not staring at screens: there are zero TVs, three bars pouring from 42 rotating taps, and game tables handmade by the family's own granddaddy. Live music lands here nearly every night of the week — expect everything from acoustic singer-songwriters to full bands packing the concert floor.
Look closely at the bar: one end holds a brick from the family's great-great-grandfather's 1872 Louisville brewery. The other end holds the three daughters' handprints. That about sums the place up.
Only Here
- 42 rotating taps across 3 bars — beer, cider, hard seltzer, sangria, and more, all made in-house
- No TVs anywhere. The room was built for live music, games, and actual conversation
- The bar is one solid piece of concrete poured with the floor — 'probably the safest hurricane spot in St. Pete'
- The building loaded rail cars in a past life; you can still spot the track markings by the outdoor picnic tables
